Matt Maglodi, who founded the digital marketing agency Online Advantages in 2012, designed the initiative to provide more than just a logo on a race car. By leveraging the content creation, fan interaction, and digital footprint inherent in grassroots motorsports, the program offers participants features like business spotlights, dedicated articles, and search-optimized mentions. This structure provides a tiered alternative to the agency’s full-service marketing packages, which typically start at $1,795 per month.
Expanding the Grassroots Ecosystem
The program targets a wide range of amateur disciplines, including Spec Miata, club racing, karting, and motocross. By securing multiple small-scale sponsors, racers can offset costs for tires, fuel, and entry fees while providing local companies with measurable promotional value. The initiative has already begun its rollout with partners like Cottage Grove Bakery, and Maglodi plans to scale the model to support other amateur competitors across the broader racing community.
