The appointments, effective August 6, mark a significant shift for the Austin-based pet care organization. By centralizing leadership, NVA aims to bridge the gap between operational efficiency and medical outcomes. CEO John Bruno noted that the move is designed to make the pet care experience more accessible while standardizing medical quality across the company's vast footprint.

Storms transitions to her new role from her position as President of Ethos Veterinary Health, bringing a quarter-century of executive experience from firms including Johnson & Johnson and Eli Lilly. She is tasked with integrating resources across the network to improve care team support. Meanwhile, Dr. Burdick joins the executive leadership team to drive medical strategy. A board-certified internal medicine specialist, she previously led the integration of 140 hospitals under the Ethos banner. Her mandate involves elevating evidence-based practice and strengthening clinical leadership to ensure consistent patient outcomes throughout NVA's diverse care settings.
