An Arlington Heights Inventor Unveils Automated Tree Hydration Ornament

"I wanted to create a convenient, attractive, and festive way to water a live Christmas tree at shoulder or waist height," said the inventor from Arlington Heights, Illinois. The resulting patent-pending device, dubbed the Christmas Tree Automatic Watering Ornament, aims to replace tedious kneeling with a decorative, elevated solution.

The device functions as a vessel that mounts directly onto the tree, allowing users to replenish water levels without crawling beneath branches or struggling with floor-level stands. By streamlining the maintenance of live trees, the ornament addresses common issues like overwatering and the physical strain associated with traditional tree care.

The invention features a stable, aesthetic design intended for both residential and commercial use. InventHelp, which is managing the submission, has confirmed that a prototype and technical documentation are available for manufacturers interested in licensing or purchasing the rights to the product. Interested parties can reach the firm at its Pittsburgh headquarters to review the design, referenced by tracking number CHK-5092.
