Cellebrite Appoints Shiven Ramji CEO Amid Revenue Outlook Adjustment

Cellebrite has named Shiven Ramji as its new Chief Executive Officer, replacing Thomas E. Hogan in a planned leadership transition effective immediately. The move comes as the digital intelligence firm reports second-quarter growth but simultaneously lowers its full-year revenue and ARR guidance due to elongated sales cycles.

Ramji, who previously served as President of Products and Technology since May 2026, joins the company's Board of Directors as it seeks to navigate a shifting market landscape. Board Chairman Adam Clammer credited the outgoing CEO, Thomas E. Hogan, with building a strong foundation and team over the last three years, noting that the succession marks a strategic pivot toward a product-first approach.

While the company reported a 21% year-over-year increase in annual recurring revenue (ARR) to $507.8 million for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, performance fell short of internal targets. Ramji cited slower-than-anticipated conversions for its Inseyets platform and longer sales cycles as primary drivers for the tempered full-year outlook. Despite these headwinds, the company raised its adjusted EBITDA target, signaling a focus on operational discipline. Recent product momentum, including the launch of its agentic AI solution, Genesis, remains a core pillar of the firm's growth strategy for the remainder of the year.
