The lawsuit contends that Bloom Energy consistently understated its dependence on Chinese scandium, rendering its public statements about business operations and prospects materially misleading. These claims gained traction following a July 8, 2026, report by Hunterbrook Media, titled "Bloom's Big Lie." The report utilized global trade data, satellite imagery, and direct communication with suppliers to trace four distinct supply chains feeding the company's Delaware facility via Thailand, Japan, and South Korea.
Following the publication of these allegations, Bloom Energy’s stock price dropped nearly 6%. The law firm asserts that the company failed to provide a reasonable basis for its positive disclosures during the class period. Investors who suffered financial losses have until September 28, 2026, to file for lead plaintiff status. Gregory Stone, Director of Case and Financial Analysis at Wolf Haldenstein, is managing inquiries for those seeking to participate in the litigation.
