Hycroft Mining Expands High-Grade Silver Zones at Nevada Mine

Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation has extended its high-grade silver systems at the Brimstone and Vortex deposits in Nevada, reporting significant drill intercepts that confirm both lateral and vertical continuity. The latest results from the 2025-2026 exploration program bolster the company's case for developing a potential high-grade underground silver mine.

At the Vortex deposit, recent drilling successfully pushed the high-grade silver system approximately 150 meters to the west. A standout intercept from hole H26D-6088 returned 12.5 meters at 375.41 g/t silver, a result that underscores the expansion potential of the site. Meanwhile, at Brimstone, exploration efforts have confirmed high-grade mineralization closer to the surface. Hole H26D-6169 intersected 82.7 meters at 87.52 g/t silver and 0.77 g/t gold, providing further evidence of the system's growth capacity.

Beyond these extensions, the company is actively testing for a potential feeder system at depth below Brimstone. Geophysics-led drilling, specifically in holes H26D-6089 and H26D-6089X, has revealed stockwork veining and geochemistry consistent with deep-seated fluid pathways. CEO Diane Garrett noted that these findings reinforce the company’s strategic focus on defining the optimal path for future mining operations while maintaining a debt-free balance sheet. To date, Hycroft has completed roughly 15,585 meters of its planned 26,000-meter core drill program, with further work scheduled across both deposit zones throughout the remainder of the year.
