LumenStim Targets Daily Routines With Peroxide-Free Whitening Brush

Pleasanton-based wellness firm LumenStim has secured approval for a Kickstarter campaign to debut its integrated oral-care system. The device merges sonic brushing with a peroxide-free photocatalytic formula, aiming to eliminate the need for traditional whitening strips or trays by incorporating the treatment into a standard three-minute brushing session.

The system features a toothbrush capable of 42,600 vibrations per minute, paired with a dual-chamber toothpaste that maintains the stability of its active ingredients until the moment of use. By isolating two photocatalyst components until they are activated by the brush, the company claims a more efficient whitening process that avoids the harshness associated with conventional peroxide-based products. Nano-hydroxyapatite is also included in the formula to assist in enamel care.

This product launch marks a strategic shift for the brand, which previously operated under the name XJS Science Limited and gained industry experience through its involvement with established names like SmoothSkin and TriPollar. LumenStim is currently pursuing global patent protection for the underlying technology, though specific technical details remain under wraps. The company’s internal data, based on a 21-day trial of its earlier-generation hardware, indicated that over 71% of participants experienced visible whitening results. Rather than treating oral health as a series of disparate tasks, the developers argue that the future of wellness lies in simplifying regimens by embedding professional-grade technology into existing, non-negotiable daily habits.
