The ViewX Liber 15.6-inch and the larger 27-inch Immer launch their crowdfunding campaign on August 25, 2026. Unlike traditional 3D monitors that often demand high-end PC performance, ViewX shifts the processing load to the display itself. An onboard AI unit handles real-time 2D-to-3D conversion, allowing consoles like the PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch to render spatial content without requiring a powerhouse workstation. The hardware maintains compatibility with standard systems, recommending setups as accessible as an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or Intel Core Ultra processor.
Beyond the hardware, ViewX is positioning its product as a software platform rather than a static screen. The company claims support for over 100 games at launch, bolstered by a partnership with Tencent Games to optimize the 3D rendering pipeline. The ecosystem includes proprietary applications like SpatialGateway and DepthTransformer, while maintaining support for existing tools such as ReShade and Geo-11. Early-bird backers can secure the units for between $1,099 and $1,499, a significant discount from the projected retail pricing of up to $2,099.
