Permag Marks 75 Years of Magnetic Engineering Evolution

The company’s current market position follows the strategic integration of three industry stalwarts: Electron Energy Corporation, Magnetic Component Engineering, and Dexter Magnetic Technologies. By merging these entities under a single brand, Permag has centralized its engineering depth, aiming to provide a unified supply chain for high-stakes sectors including aerospace, defense, and semiconductor manufacturing.

CEO Joe Stupel noted that this consolidation allows the organization to manage the full lifecycle of magnetic solutions, from raw materials to finished, mission-critical assemblies. With operations spanning North America and Europe, the company currently services clients in over 40 countries. Looking forward, the firm is prioritizing investments in manufacturing capacity and domestic rare earth supply chains to meet the rising demand for electrification and national security technologies.
