This marks the second consecutive year the credit union has been recognized for its mobile platform, while the overall digital bank designation serves as a new milestone for the institution. The selection process prioritized growth in digital customer engagement, the breadth of available financial products, and the measurable success of recent digital initiatives.

Chief Digital Strategy Officer Brandon McGee stated that these honors validate the credit union’s ongoing investments in creating a secure, seamless experience for its 191,000 members. The A+ Mobile App currently supports a wide array of functions, ranging from biometric security and real-time transaction alerts to integrated budgeting tools and instant peer-to-peer transfers. Founded in 1949 by a group of Austin teachers, the credit union now manages $2.52 billion in assets across 22 branches, focusing its current development strategy on evolving member expectations for accessible, on-the-go financial management.
