PMET Advances Caesium Development with Large-Scale Sampling at CV13

PMET Resources has collected more than 2.5 tonnes of pollucite pegmatite from its Vega Caesium Zone at the CV13 project in Quebec. This sampling program, dubbed BerryPick, utilizes large-diameter shallow drilling to secure high-quality material for upcoming metallurgical testwork and ongoing industry partnership discussions.

The company is employing an innovative, low-cost collection method involving a grid of shallow holes drilled to depths of less than 60 centimeters. By using a 30-centimeter drill core diameter, PMET retrieves larger pegmatite fragments that more accurately simulate the physical characteristics of blasted run-of-mine material than standard industry core sizes. This approach provides the necessary volume to support feasibility-level assessments and downstream chemical processing trials.

PMET plans to submit these composites for ore sorting and geochemical analysis starting in the fourth quarter of 2026. The objective is to produce between 500 and 1,000 kilograms of pollucite concentrate to further evaluate recovery methods and strengthen technical cooperation with partners like Koch Technology Solutions. The Vega Zone, where previous channel sampling returned 3.0 meters at 9.43% Cs2O, remains a central focus of the company’s efforts to define the commercial potential of its caesium resources.
