A husband-and-wife team has brought the reformer-based fitness franchise to the Palomar neighborhood, marking the brand’s debut in Kentucky. Owners Cara and Jason Groth were inspired to open the studio after witnessing the positive impact of the program on their daughter, a professional ballerina. The couple, who have deep roots in the local community, spent their careers in healthcare—Jason as a physician assistant and Cara as a pharmacist. They view the new space as a venue for both physical training and social connection.

The studio is equipped with 14 Reformers and provides a range of signature athletic classes, along with private training sessions. Kamille McCollum, president and co-founder of the franchise, noted that the expansion into Lexington aligns with the city's growing interest in health-conscious fitness environments. The Groths intend to use this initial location as a foundation for further expansion throughout the Lexington area in the coming years. Nationally, the brand currently operates 86 studios with plans to open 30 additional locations by the end of the year.
