Board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, Siskind specializes in complex procedures including minimally invasive nephrectomies, hepatobiliary surgery, and dialysis access. Over his career, he has performed more than 300 transplant and advanced surgical operations. His clinical approach integrates a background from Columbia University and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine with specialized fellowship training completed at the University of Maryland Medical Center in 2016.
Before his 2022 appointment in Texas, Siskind held surgical roles at institutions such as Inova Fairfax Medical Center and Albany Medical Center. Beyond his clinical practice, he has contributed to transplant research involving cell-free DNA technologies and has authored over 25 scientific manuscripts. His work has earned him the American Society of Transplant Surgeons Young Investigator Award, as he continues to focus on expanding transplant service access and refining patient outcomes through evidence-based surgical leadership.
