The leadership shakeup sees Pham Nhat Quan Anh assume comprehensive control of VinFast, overseeing both global and domestic operations. Previously appointed Chairman of VinFast Global in May 2026, he succeeds founder Pham Nhat Vuong. A graduate of Singapore Management University, Quan Anh brings experience from across the Vingroup ecosystem, including his ongoing role as CEO of VinMetal. He takes charge as the automaker navigates a complex global expansion, with manufacturing footprints now spanning Vietnam, Indonesia, and India.
Simultaneously, GSM—the operator of the Green SM mobility brand—is restructuring its top brass. Nguyen Quoc Tuan has been named Chairman of GSM Global, succeeding Pham Thu Huong, while 24-year-old Pham Nhat Minh Hoang takes over as CEO of both GSM Global and GSM Vietnam. Minh Hoang, a significant shareholder in various Vingroup-affiliated technology and energy firms, assumes his new post as the company prepares for an international stock exchange listing. These appointments reflect a broader strategic pivot within Vingroup to cultivate in-house talent capable of managing the companies' aggressive growth trajectories in sixteen countries and counting.
