This contraction rippled through the company's operating results, which fell to 180 million yen from 559 million yen. Pretax profit followed a similar downward trajectory, settling at 170 million yen compared to the previous year's 548 million yen. Consequently, earnings per share plummeted to 51.53 yen from 197.13 yen. These figures were prepared in accordance with Japanese accounting standards.
