Orvis Corp Profits Slide 74 Percent Amid Revenue Contraction

A 91 million yen net profit for the nine-month period ending July 31 marks a sharp decline for Orvis Corp, down significantly from the 348 million yen recorded during the same timeframe last year. The Japanese firm’s latest financial statement underscores a period of intensified pressure on its domestic bottom line.

Revenue for the nine months dropped to 8.55 billion yen, trailing the 9.96 billion yen posted in 2025. This contraction rippled through the company's operating results, which fell to 180 million yen from 559 million yen. Pretax profit followed a similar downward trajectory, settling at 170 million yen compared to the previous year's 548 million yen. Consequently, earnings per share plummeted to 51.53 yen from 197.13 yen. These figures were prepared in accordance with Japanese accounting standards.
