The chosen ventures represent six countries, including the United Kingdom, India, and the United States. They will participate in a week-long gathering in Windham, New York, connecting with Mars mentors and global investors to accelerate their impact. The initiative focuses on high-growth solutions such as Spore Bio’s rapid contamination detection technology and Lasso Labs’ fiber-spinning methods for meat-alternative textures.
This marks the third year of the collaboration, which previously helped its inaugural cohort generate nearly $200 million in additional revenue while conserving 310 million liters of water. Amanda Davies, Chief R&D, Commercial and Sustainability Officer for Mars Snacking, stated that the cohort brings the scalable thinking necessary to advance food safety and ingredient innovation from soil to snack. The program serves as a platform for these companies to integrate into a wider network of industry leaders, focusing on long-term supply chain resilience.
