The capital injection will target both the expansion of existing theme parks and the construction of new attractions designed to meet shifting visitor demands. Beyond entertainment, the company plans to increase its hotel room count, broadening the island's accommodation capacity to support a growing influx of international tourists. This development cycle remains distinct from the previously announced Disney collaboration.
Chairman Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak stated the investment serves to cement the island’s role in Abu Dhabi’s long-term economic diversification. By integrating new leisure experiences, the initiative seeks to drive sustainable growth while creating specialized jobs within the tourism sector. The project aims to refine the visitor journey, ensuring the destination remains a central hub for entertainment in the region for the coming years.
