This contraction in sales directly impacted the bottom line, with operating profit nearly halving to ¥8.46 billion compared to the ¥15.34 billion generated in the prior first half.
Financial Performance Breakdown
The downturn extended to pretax figures, which reached ¥9.15 billion, trailing significantly behind the ¥16.05 billion reported in 2024. Earnings per share also reflected the broader decline, dropping to ¥125.95 from ¥211.33.The results, prepared under Japanese accounting standards, highlight a challenging period for the Chigasaki-based firm. Despite the lower figures, the company remains a critical supplier in the semiconductor and flat-panel display manufacturing sectors.
