Crown Castle Shuffles Leadership as CFO and COO Depart

A dual executive shakeup is hitting Crown Castle, as the telecommunications infrastructure firm confirmed on Monday that both its financial and operating chiefs are stepping down. The departures mark a significant transition for the Houston-based company, which is now recalibrating its senior management team amidst a broader corporate restructuring.

Chief Financial Officer Sunit Patel plans to retire on March 31, ending his tenure at the company. His successor, Kris Hinson, who currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer, will step into the financial role on April 1.

Concurrently, Chief Operating Officer Cathy Piche will leave the organization on Sept. 23 to pursue other professional interests. Piche will remain in an advisory capacity until Feb. 22 to assist with the handover process. The company has initiated a formal search to identify a permanent replacement for the operating role.
