By bypassing the delays of traditional media relations, the service allows reporters to verify claims, interpret litigation, and pressure-test tips in real time. More than 100 experts have already been tapped to provide proactive insights and technical support through December 15.
Elizabeth Green, CEO of Civic News Company, noted that the resource serves to provide communities with credible information for informed decision-making. The project aligns with More Perfect’s broader mandate to advance democratic stability and public trust in electoral processes. Interested reporters covering the 2026 cycle can apply for access, provided they adhere to the desk's nonpartisan participation guidelines.
