Rocket Pharma Rallies as FDA Clears Path for Danon Disease Trial

A 5.1% premarket surge pushed Rocket Pharmaceuticals shares to $3.60 after regulators signaled approval for the company’s pivotal phase 2 trial. The regulatory green light follows an evaluation of safety data from the first three patients treated under the updated dosing regimen. Rocket reported that these participants completed at least four weeks of follow-up without showing signs of thrombotic microangiopathy or capillary leak syndrome. With these clinical markers cleared, the company plans to enroll a total of 12 male patients in the study.

The agency’s confirmation allows Rocket to maintain the current momentum of its research, which has seen stock value rise 20% over the past three months. The company now anticipates completing the dosing process for the remaining trial participants by mid-2027. Danon disease remains a complex challenge, impacting the cardiovascular, skeletal, and central nervous systems, making the progression of this gene therapy a critical milestone for the biotech firm.
