Regal Debuts Rewards+ Subscription to Boost Theatrical Flexibility

With monthly plans starting at $10.99, Regal is targeting casual moviegoers who want consistent theater access without the commitment of an unlimited pass. The new Rewards+ program introduces a rollover ticket model and automatic concessions discounts, aiming to simplify the economics of a standard night out at the cinema.

The membership includes one 2D ticket per month that carries over to future billing cycles if unused, addressing a common pain point for subscribers who miss a release window. Beyond the base ticket, members receive 20% off snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, alongside waived convenience fees for online bookings. Chief Commercial Officer Adam Rymer emphasized that the program is designed for those who visit regularly but require more control over how they utilize their benefits.

Subscribers also gain the ability to purchase up to four additional discounted tickets monthly, facilitating group outings for films such as the upcoming Resident Evil or Whalefall. The service integrates with existing loyalty structures, allowing members to earn 100 Regal Rewards points for every dollar spent. Interested customers can register via the Regal mobile app or the company’s website to secure access to current and anticipated theatrical releases.
