American College of Lifestyle Medicine wins Fast Company design award

The American College of Lifestyle Medicine secured an honorable mention in Fast Company’s 2026 Innovation by Design Awards for Project Remission, a digital film series. Recognized in the Small and Mighty category, the project highlights the transition from lifelong diabetes management to the potential for disease remission through evidence-based lifestyle interventions.

The film series, produced in collaboration with Content With Purpose, documents how healthcare systems and clinicians are integrating lifestyle medicine to address the root causes of chronic illness. By focusing on six core pillars of health, the project aims to shift the standard of care from merely managing symptoms to actively restoring patient health.

ACLM CEO John Findley noted that the recognition validates a broader push to reimagine healthcare possibilities beyond traditional technology. The awards program, now in its 15th year, selects projects that demonstrate cultural significance and measurable impact. A panel of designers and executives evaluated the entries, with the full list of honorees appearing in the upcoming fall issue of Fast Company magazine.
