Coop Sleep Goods Targets Skincare Market with Copper-Infused Bedding

Irvine-based bedding manufacturer Coop Sleep Goods is blurring the lines between sleep hygiene and personal care with the launch of Copper+. The new collection, released September 15, utilizes copper-infused fibers in pillows and sheets to create a cleaner sleep surface, promising a 99.9% reduction in acne and odor-causing bacteria.

The expansion marks a strategic shift for the company, moving beyond its signature adjustable pillows into the beauty and wellness sector. By targeting the eight-plus hours of direct contact between skin and fabric, the brand aims to position its bedding as a functional extension of a nightly skincare regimen. Debbie Liu, director of product development, noted that the integration of copper fibers allows the product line to combine traditional comfort with active hygiene benefits.

The collection centers on two primary offerings: the Copper+ Pillow and the Copper+ Sheet Set. The pillow retains the company’s hallmark adjustable graphene-infused memory foam, while the outer cover and inner liner utilize the copper-infused material. Complementing this, the sheet sets are designed to minimize skin friction and creasing, maintaining their antibacterial performance through 50 washes. Available in White and Dove Grey, the items are priced starting at $129 for a Queen pillow and $169 for a Queen sheet set, accessible directly through the company’s website.
