The partnership follows a period of transition for Shopley CEO Steve Levely, who joined Factor4 as an advisor in late 2025 following the sale of his previous firm, Ackroo. Levely and Factor4 CEO Dan Battista initially evaluated a loose collaboration before opting for a formal resale agreement. This model allows Shopley to integrate Factor4’s RewardOS API directly into its existing suite of point-of-sale and digital signage tools, creating a unified commerce engine for brick-and-mortar merchants.
For Factor4, the Broomall-based firm gains a localized foothold in Canada, leveraging Levely’s established regional network to navigate the country's specific retail requirements. By aligning their technology stacks, both companies intend to provide a more cohesive experience for merchants managing multi-channel gift card and loyalty programs. The collaboration is designed to scale operations while addressing the evolving technical needs of merchant services providers in the region.
