Four specific service lines achieved top-50 national status: Urology at 22nd, Nephrology at 36th, Cancer at 48th, and Neonatology at 49th.

Lucio A. Fragoso, President and CEO of the hospital, credited the distinction to the institution's specialized focus on pediatric wellbeing. The recognition follows an extensive evaluation process led by U.S. News and RTI International, which measured hospital resources, patient safety, and established best practices. Greg Feirn, CEO of LCMC Health, noted that the achievement is the culmination of long-term investments and partnerships with academic entities, including LSU Health New Orleans and the Tulane University School of Medicine.
