Rogers arrives at the Bethesda-based foundation following a four-year tenure at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Foundation, where he directed philanthropic strategy. His background also includes over eight years of leadership at the Lymphoma Research Foundation, covering diverse fundraising channels and patient communications. At LUNGevity, he will oversee a comprehensive strategy to expand donor and partner relationships across the entire lung cancer continuum.

Andrea Ferris, president and CEO of LUNGevity, noted that the move is intended to translate emerging scientific opportunities into tangible progress for patients. As the organization scales its focus on early detection and precision medicine, the role will prioritize creating new pathways for philanthropic support. Rogers, who holds degrees from The New School, enters the organization as it continues its mission to address the needs of patients from initial diagnosis through survivorship.
