By utilizing specialized spray drying technology, the company converts these ingredients into more bioavailable forms. Operating under the existing FDA-registered quality system, the new site allows clients to streamline technology transfers and accelerate the path from early formulation to commercial-scale production.

This project adds approximately 80 new jobs to the East Windsor site and serves as a precursor to a larger development plan. Over the next decade, Hovione intends to transform the campus into a 125,000-square-foot hub, potentially incorporating additional laboratories and manufacturing suites on 15 acres of adjacent land. This strategy aligns with the firm’s global push to establish a network of harmonized manufacturing sites across North America, Europe, and Asia, ensuring supply chain resilience for the 19 of the world's 20 largest pharmaceutical companies currently partnering with the organization.
