Addmotor Expands 2026 E-Trike Lineup with New Models

Addmotor is broadening its 2026 electric tricycle portfolio, introducing the Freetan semi-recumbent series, the compact Freetri folding model, and the UTrike tilting series. These additions aim to serve a diverse rider base, from commuters and fitness enthusiasts to those requiring balance assistance or specialized mobility recovery solutions.

The Freetan series, built on a 6061 aluminum alloy frame, features a 750W rear-drive motor and an adjustable 90°–170° reclining backrest for ergonomic comfort. To address varied terrain and load requirements, the upcoming Freetan Turbo, arriving in November 2026, will upgrade the platform with a 750W mid-drive motor capable of delivering 150Nm of torque. For users with storage limitations, the Freetri applies these same semi-recumbent design principles to a portable, foldable frame.

Complementing the recumbent options, the UTrike series introduces a specialized pivot axle that allows the front chassis to lean while the rear remains stable. The UTrike U-750 offers a dual-mode system: a fixed mode for maximum stability and a tilting mode for a dynamic, bike-like handling experience. The UTrike U-710 version provides similar functionality in a folding configuration, catering to urban residents and travelers. All new models utilize Addmotor’s proprietary EB2.0 intelligent control platform and high-capacity battery systems to maintain consistent performance across their respective use cases.
