The alliance leverages the strengths of both organizations: OpenText will supply the foundational data, governance frameworks, and contextual depth, while Cohere provides the orchestration layer through its North agentic AI platform. This integration allows OpenText to embed Cohere’s specialized models directly into its existing Aviator AI agents. By combining these capabilities, the companies intend to solve the complexities of deploying autonomous systems in environments where data privacy and compliance remain rigid obstacles.
Clients will have the flexibility to run these solutions either on-premises or via OpenText Cloud. This dual-deployment model is designed to satisfy the strict sovereignty requirements often demanded by federal agencies and large-scale financial entities. The project marks a significant shift in how managed data infrastructures will interact with evolving agentic workflows over the next two years.
