According to the complaint, these obstructions posed a persistent hazard to motorists until the collision brought the infrastructure down, resulting in multiple injuries.

Derek Potts, National Managing Partner of the firm, emphasized that commercial drivers should not face preventable infrastructure hazards while performing their duties. The litigation seeks to hold the company accountable for the alleged negligence that transformed a public roadway into a site of a severe accident. Attorney Russell Shrauner added that the case highlights the vulnerability of truck drivers, who often find themselves victims of external environmental risks beyond their control. The case, docketed as DC-26-17579, remains pending in the Dallas County District Court.
