The W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University will present the accolade to Stanley on October 13 at the University Club of New York. The honor recognizes the most accurate economic predictions published in the Blue Chip Economic Indicators newsletter between 2022 and 2025. Dennis Hoffman, director of the Office of the University Economist at ASU, noted that Stanley’s consistent performance across GDP, inflation, and unemployment metrics set him apart during the 50th year of the Blue Chip panel.
Stanley, who serves as chief U.S. economist at Santander US Capital Markets, will use the ceremony to deliver his 2027 economic outlook. His career has spanned decades of macroeconomic analysis and Federal Reserve observation, supported by degrees from Washington and Lee University and the University of Chicago. The public may view a livestream of the event, which includes a Q&A session for virtual attendees.
