The collaboration divides responsibilities to capitalize on each firm's distinct strengths. HL Klemove, which has maintained a footprint in ADAS development since 2012, will spearhead business development and oversee mass-production efforts. The company currently operates manufacturing facilities across South Korea, China, India, and North America, supported by a portfolio of over 2,700 patents.

Lenovo will contribute its specialized design capabilities for autonomous driving controllers, shifting its AI computing focus toward automotive applications ranging from Level 2+ to Level 4 systems. According to HL Klemove President Yun Haeng Lee, the integration of Lenovo’s controller design with their own system integration expertise is intended to sharpen their competitive edge for global automotive clients. Lenovo Vice President Peter Xu emphasized that the partnership provides a vehicle to accelerate their entry into new markets by utilizing HL Klemove’s established supply chain and manufacturing infrastructure.
