AIR Researchers to Lead Broad Discussion at 2026 SREE Conference

Experts from the American Institutes for Research (AIR) will headline a series of presentations at the Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE) annual conference, taking place September 23–26 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. The program focuses on evidence-based strategies for navigating a shifting educational landscape.

The conference, titled "Education and Public Trust: Evidence and Accountability in a Changing Landscape," serves as a platform for AIR to showcase research ranging from the practical application of AI in classrooms to the evaluation of adult learning programs. Throughout the four-day event, AIR staff will participate in workshops, panel discussions, and poster sessions designed to bridge the gap between academic findings and policy implementation.

Key sessions feature explorations into the responsible use of large language models in program evaluation, the impact of work-based learning, and strategies for supporting special educators. Beyond individual presentations, AIR experts will lead broader conversations on the future of the research ecosystem and the role of public trust in education. The organization, which maintains a Silver sponsorship for the event, will also host a dedicated booth in the Exhibitor Hall to facilitate engagement with attendees.
