James Sullivan Tapped as QuickLogic CFO

James Sullivan will take over as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at QuickLogic on October 5, 2026. He steps into the role following the resignation of Elias Nader, who departed the semiconductor developer on September 18 to pursue new professional ventures after a four-year tenure.

CEO Brian Faith characterized the transition as a strategic move to bolster the company’s financial infrastructure. Faith highlighted Sullivan’s extensive background in the semiconductor sector, specifically noting his previous leadership roles at publicly traded firms including Peraso Inc., MoSys, Inc., and 8x8, Inc. The company confirmed that Sullivan’s appointment does not affect its previously issued financial guidance for the third quarter of 2026.

Sullivan brings experience spanning the wireless, aerospace, and defense markets—sectors that align with QuickLogic’s current focus on embedded FPGA IP and ruggedized programmable logic. Before his executive career, he spent time at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and earned a B.S. in Accounting from New York University’s Stern School of Business. As he prepares to join the San Jose-based firm, Sullivan stated his intent to prioritize financial discipline to support the company’s ongoing growth initiatives and long-term shareholder value.
