Beyond scaling its physical operations, the move allows Mérieux to diversify its service portfolio into adjacent sectors, including cosmetics, health supplements, and reduced-harm nicotine products.

For the incoming investors, the partnership reflects a long-term bet on the resilience of the TIC industry amid rising global consumer safety standards. Once the Certified Group transaction closes, both Peugeot Invest and Conti will take seats on the Mérieux NutriSciences Board of Directors. Alexandre Mérieux, chairman of the company’s board, noted that the investment serves as a critical milestone in the firm's global growth strategy, reinforced by the continued participation of existing long-term shareholders Sofina and Dassault Group.
