Ripple Foods Targets Toddler Market With Walmart-Exclusive Milk Line

Parents navigating the nutritional transition of children aged 12 to 36 months have a new shelf-stable option, as Berkeley-based Ripple Foods rolls out its plant-based toddler milk exclusively in Walmart's baby aisles. The product line aims to simplify busy family routines while addressing specific developmental dietary requirements.

Each 8-ounce carton packs 8 grams of pea protein, alongside DHA omega-3s, choline, and calcium to support early brain and bone development. The formula also includes prebiotic fiber for digestive health. Designed to accommodate restrictive diets, the milk is free from the top nine allergens, including dairy, soy, nuts, and gluten.

CEO Becky O'Grady noted that the launch expands the company's footprint after the success of its existing Ripple Kids line. By opting for a shelf-stable format that requires no refrigeration until opened, the company is positioning the product for daycare use and travel. The milk is currently available in Original and Unsweetened Original four-packs for an MSRP of $8.96, both in stores and through the retailer's online platform.
