Aberdeen Intermediate Income Fund Sets 1-for-6 Reverse Stock Split

Every six common shares of the Aberdeen Intermediate Income Fund will consolidate into one under a new 1-for-6 reverse stock split. Approved by the Board of Trustees, the move aims to lift the fund's per-share market price and streamline administrative processes before trading opens on October 8, 2026.

The fund, which trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker MIN, expects the split to increase its share price without altering the underlying investment strategy or net assets. While the aggregate value of individual investments will remain unchanged, the adjustment serves to reduce trading frictions and improve suitability for various investment platforms. The fund will continue to trade under the MIN symbol, though it will be assigned a new CUSIP number, 55273C206.

Management emphasized that the distribution policy remains fixed at an annual rate of 8.50% of the average monthly net asset value. Following the consolidation, shareholders will see their per-share distribution payments rise proportionally to reflect the lower share count. Brokerage accounts will automatically process the adjustment, while holders of physical certificates should coordinate directly with the transfer agent, Computershare Trust Company, N.A. No fractional shares will be issued; instead, these entitlements will be aggregated and sold, with proceeds distributed to the respective shareholders.
