The deal designates Clean Express as the official car wash of the Penguins, marking the brand's third major sports alliance in the region alongside the Steelers and the Pirates. For fans, the partnership introduces a tangible incentive: a complimentary $28 'Clean-est Ultra' wash available the day after any home game where the Penguins net the opening goal.
Beyond game-day promotions, the collaboration focuses on youth hockey initiatives and community engagement. Express Wash Concepts founder John Roush noted that the company aims to embed itself into the local sports culture year-round. This strategy aligns with the firm's physical growth, as Clean Express plans to increase its local footprint from 13 to 20 locations by the end of 2026. Steve Kelley, the Penguins' senior vice president of partnerships, stated that the move is intended to extend the fan experience well beyond the walls of PPG Paints Arena.
