Global 'Flags of Fellowship' Campaign Doubles in Scale for October 7

More than 5.2 million Israeli flags will be planted across 13 countries this month as the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews marks the third anniversary of the October 7 attacks, signaling a massive expansion of the 'Flags of Fellowship' movement aimed at countering rising global anti-Semitism.

The initiative has seen participation more than double since 2025, with 4,375 churches, synagogues, and organizations joining the remembrance movement. While the campaign originated in the U.S. and Canada, its international footprint has surged, driven by a new hub model where flagship churches in nations like Colombia, Mexico, and Guatemala serve as regional distribution centers. In Colombia alone, 1,000 churches are set to display 1.2 million flags throughout October.

Ten flagship churches across the United States, including locations in Tennessee, Texas, and New Jersey, will anchor the domestic effort, hosting events that feature October 7 survivors and local dignitaries. Yael Eckstein, President and Global CEO of The Fellowship, frames the movement as a spiritual declaration of solidarity rather than a political gesture. Since the 2023 conflict began, the organization has directed $432 million in aid toward emergency food, medical equipment, and support for vulnerable populations, maintaining its mission to bridge the gap between Christian and Jewish communities during periods of heightened global tension.
