Keyfactor Recruits Former CyberArk CEO Matt Cohen for Board

Former CyberArk CEO Matt Cohen is joining Keyfactor’s board of directors and serving as a strategic advisor to CEO Jordan Rackie, a move aimed at guiding the company through its next phase of rapid expansion following a recent $1 billion-plus growth investment led by Summit Partners.

The addition of Cohen comes as Keyfactor surpasses $200 million in annual recurring revenue. Rackie noted that the company specifically targeted Cohen for his experience in scaling cybersecurity firms and his familiarity with the operational challenges associated with such growth. Cohen previously spearheaded the leadership team at CyberArk, guiding the firm through its $25 billion acquisition by Palo Alto Networks.

Keyfactor is currently positioning its Trust Control Plane as a central hub for managing machine identities, cryptography, and AI security. With the influx of capital from Summit Partners, the company plans to accelerate international expansion and product development, including efforts to address the emerging security requirements of the post-quantum era. Cohen described the intersection of machine identity and cryptographic modernization as a defining security challenge for the coming decade, aligning his expertise with Keyfactor's current trajectory.
