The deal positions the Nebraska-based Nelnet to leverage Entab’s flagship CampusCare platform, which currently serves over 1,000 schools. By operating as "Entab, a Nelnet company," the firm intends to preserve its established brand identity and customer relationships. Entab’s 290 employees will remain in their current New Delhi offices, ensuring operational continuity for the schools and families who rely on their ERP and learning management systems.
DeeAnn Wenger, President of Nelnet Business Services, characterized the move as a milestone in building a global platform for educational efficiency. For Entab, the integration provides access to expanded resources, which CEO and co-founder Lawrence Zacharias noted will accelerate the company’s product roadmap. The acquisition was supported by legal and financial advisors including Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Baker McKenzie, and Moxie Capital Mumbai, marking a significant consolidation in the international school management technology sector.
