The acquisition of the Pennsylvania-based firm, founded in 2008, brings additional inspectors, plan reviewers, and code enforcement professionals into the SAFEbuilt fold. Operating from offices in Childs and Danville, Northeast Inspection Consultants has specialized in zoning consulting and building department services for nearly two decades.

John Marino, CEO of the acquired firm, stated that the transition allows the team to maintain its established local approach while leveraging SAFEbuilt’s broader resource pool. Joe DeRosa, President and Chief Revenue Officer of SAFEbuilt, noted that the move is designed to deepen the company's regional expertise as it scales support for municipalities facing evolving community development demands.
