The relationship focuses on integrating Maple's digital lending operations with IRACE’s regulated banking network. By utilizing IRACE’s infrastructure, Maple seeks to mirror the speed and precision of its onchain protocols within the traditional fiat banking environment. John Cronin, Global CEO at IRACE, noted that the partnership reflects a broader shift where capital moves fluidly between traditional and digital asset classes.
IRACE currently operates as a multinational banking group with regulatory authorizations from the CSSF, CIMA, and the OCC. In the United States, its national trust bank unit is permitted to offer custody and execution services, a capability it is actively working to expand globally. For Maple, the move addresses the technical requirement for institutional-grade banking layers that can sustain their growing credit and fixed-income portfolios.
