The afternoon session, running from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., focuses on trade professionals with two dedicated masterclasses covering heritage varieties and terroir-driven icon wines. Producers aim to reshape perceptions of the country's portfolio, moving beyond mass-market expectations to highlight contemporary regional identities. Julio Alonso, Executive Director of Wines of Chile USA, noted that Miami’s unique position as a gateway to Latin America makes it an essential hub for this expanded presentation.
Beyond traditional viticulture, the event introduces the Pisco Experience Lab, a dedicated space for tastings and seminars centered on the nation’s signature spirit. Claudia Serrer, Trade Commissioner of Chile in Miami, emphasized the potential for the category within the U.S. market, positioning the lab as an educational bridge between Chilean distillers and American palates. Supported by ProChile and LATAM Airlines, the festival concludes with an evening consumer session from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., providing direct access to the producers themselves.
