Scalefusion Integrates Vulnerability Management into Endpoint Platform

Security and IT teams often struggle with the disconnect between identifying system vulnerabilities and actually patching them. ProMobi Technologies is now addressing this gap with the launch of Veltar Vulnerability Management, a new capability within the Scalefusion platform designed to bridge detection and remediation for Windows and macOS devices.

Traditionally, vulnerability management requires teams to toggle between separate security tools and endpoint management workflows. Veltar shifts this approach by centralizing the process within the existing Scalefusion UEM environment. The system scans both operating system components and third-party applications, using a combination of CVSS scores, EPSS data, and CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities to rank threats. By incorporating a Device Risk Score, the platform allows administrators to prioritize remediation based on actual environmental context rather than generic severity metrics.

Sriram Kakarala, Chief Product Officer at Scalefusion, emphasized that detection provides little value without the ability to act immediately. By removing the need for separate management agents or manual data transfers, the integration enables IT departments to push patches directly to affected endpoints. This update expands the Veltar security portfolio, which already includes web security, device trust, and compliance features. The tool is currently available for organizations managing Windows and macOS assets, aiming to reduce the technical friction that often delays critical security updates.
