Control panels serve as the nerve center for modern industrial facilities, yet maintaining performance often requires sourcing components from fragmented suppliers. The new RS portfolio addresses this by integrating over 1,800 shielded Ethernet cables designed to resist electromagnetic interference, 350 equipment fans for cabinet cooling, and 60 Ethernet switches. These elements work alongside 9,700 switches and 3,000 signaling devices to create a cohesive infrastructure for engineers.
Erick Moreira, Director of RS PRO, noted that the move is designed to simplify procurement while maintaining rigorous safety and performance standards. By providing a single source for these parts, the company aims to reduce the total cost of ownership for industrial organizations without sacrificing output quality. Every component in the line undergoes a stringent testing and auditing process, represented by the RS PRO Seal of Approval, and carries a three-year warranty to minimize the risk of hardware-related failures.
