Creek & River Profit Dips to 2.11 Billion Yen Despite Revenue Gains

Creek & River Co. Ltd. reported a net profit of 2.11 billion yen for the half-year ending August 31, a decline from the 2.19 billion yen recorded during the same period in 2025. Despite the bottom-line contraction, the Japanese agency saw its top-line revenue climb to 32.06 billion yen.

The Tokyo-listed company experienced a notable increase in operational efficiency, with operating profit rising to 2.76 billion yen from 2.08 billion yen a year earlier. Pretax profit followed a similar upward trajectory, reaching 2.76 billion yen compared to 2.05 billion yen in the previous half-year.

Earnings per share for the period stood at 99.54 yen, down from 103.37 yen in 2025. These results, which reflect performance under Japanese accounting standards, highlight a divergence where core business activity expanded even as net profitability softened.
