The collaboration highlights the integration of Fibocom’s LE270 LTE Cat 1 bis module into Grid-OS’s latest Payment Soundbox. This hardware configuration is designed to meet the demands of a market where UPI transactions reached 24.51 billion in August 2026. The module's low-power architecture allows the device to achieve approximately 7–8 days of battery life on a single 2000mAh charge, addressing the need for reliable, low-maintenance financial connectivity.
Beyond payment solutions, the partnership covers two 4G Vehicle Trackers powered by the Fibocom LE250 series. These trackers leverage integrated GPS and BeiDou positioning alongside LTE connectivity to monitor fleet locations. Raghav Gautam, founder of Grid-OS, noted that the flexibility of Fibocom’s wireless portfolio allows for streamlined development cycles. For Fibocom, the move serves as a bridge to deepen its footprint in India, moving from niche deployments to mass-market commercial scaling.
