The capital injection, co-led by Boyu Capital and IDG Capital, reinforces the company's financial standing as it navigates a complex geopolitical landscape. Existing backers including Tencent Holdings, HongShan, and ZhenFund participated in the round, maintaining their commitment to the firm despite the recent regulatory intervention that forced the unwinding of the Meta deal on national-security grounds.
Founded by Chinese entrepreneurs, the company is currently evaluating a corporate restructuring to facilitate a potential initial public offering in Hong Kong. While these discussions remain in the preliminary stages, the firm continues to scale its AI agent technology, which specializes in complex research and presentation tasks. Having relocated most of its engineering team from China to Singapore last year, the company is positioning itself to operate outside the immediate scrutiny of domestic regulators while maintaining its core technical infrastructure.
